Yoga Nidra: Deep Rest for Fatigue
Feeling stretched thin, burnt out, or running on empty? Give yourself permission to pause and deeply rest. Through gentle, guided instruction, you’ll be led into a state between waking and sleep, where the body can fully relax, the mind can settle, and your energy can begin to reset. There is no movement, no effort, no expectations - just lie down, get comfortable, and let go. Allow yourself to receive rest and leave class feeling calmer, clearer, and renewed. What is Yoga Nidra? Often called ‘yogic sleep,’ classical Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative, guided practice that allows the nervous system to rest while the mind remains gently aware. Just one session can feel as restorative as hours of sleep, helping relieve fatigue, reduce stress, and restore mental clarity. Students will need to be able to lie down comfortably for longer periods of time. Please bring a mat, 2-3 blankets, and anything that helps you feel cozy, warm, and supported while lying down. Class will begin with gentle stretching and a short introduction to set your intention. |
